This might have been covered somewhere, but i can't find it and i'm really tired so if yall could please just answer one question for me i'd appreciate it.

Where the heck do i go to train my first creature? I just got Novice CH and it says i can't tame anything i've come acrossed. I know they have to be babies and below level 12 but it won't let me tame them. do i have to trap them or catch them or sumthing first or what? and what is a good starter pet to have? Thanks alot guys I appreciate it.

There is a current taming bug at the minute where if you try and tame something that you can't tame you'll get "You can't tame that" message but after that, if you try and tame something you can tame you'll get the same message.

Try logging out for 20mins or if your in a hurry. Go and buya pet deed off a Bio Engineer

Make sure you aren'ttrying to tame the babies ofaggressive creatures (show up on the radar as red dots). There is a seperate training mod for those, so it will take more skill boxes before you can tame aggressive animals.

At novice, you will only be able to tame the babies of the docile creatures that show up as yellow on the radar.

If the creature is tamable to you, all you have to do is walk up to it and use the /tame command. Note that there is a bug currently which sometimes makes everything untamable to you. To get around that, just log out for a little while.

Remember its about level of ferocity so even though some pets are level 12 or under, they maybe too fearce for you to tame. I know I spent forever chasing Dire Cats on Corillea before . Also remember that COMBAT level you see when you view a creature is not really related to taming level of a creature.

Tip 1. Get taming and mask scent. Remember with taming (as with any thing I think) the most you can have is +25 total for all the clothes you wear total. You should be able to find the maskscent EASIER than taming depending on your server.Need to have a nice CROP of BE's on your server.

Tip 2. Use www.swgcreatures.com this will tell you alot of information about creatures tamable or not. However, it is not as current on info since combat upgrade.

also, even if a baby is only level 5, you have to consider its level as an adult. if you are say, level 15 ch, and that level 5 baby will grow up to be a level 20 creature, you will not be able to tame the baby.

Look for yard trash babies (chubas, spineflaps etc). Look for a BE who has some or can make some low lvl non aggressive creatures for you.
