Creature Handler Archive

I'm a new CH, and not to the point where I can create a mountable pet. However I'd like to buy one. Unfortunately my max level for pets is only 14, so I was hoping someone could tell me which, if any, mountable pets I could buy and still have a slot or two for the ones I tame in the wild?

My other question is this: when browsing the bazaar, or vendors, is there a way to tell if a creature has been given a saddle already? I have been eyeing a kaadu, but would rather buy one that is saddled already than end up with one that I can't even ride around.

Well, all of the creatures on the vendors or bazaar or bio-engineered babies still in the form ofa deed. None have been or can be given saddles. You must wait until they are near full grow or already grown to give them the saddle. As far as buying one... you could but I dont think its worth it unless it has some very desirable features like poison or the such. You should be able to tame Kaadu, Lesser Dewies, and Spat yourself. Bios though have the ability to make natural creatures much weaker (A level 10 Dewback exp.) So the Bazaar can be a great place to find a great deal but when you get better in CH you will probably seek out specialty pet stores because unlike CH pets Bios can be dropped in your home as deceration (or store a bunch in a satchel like I do) until your good enough to tame them. Once grown just ask a trusted Master CH if he/she will mount it for you (Tipping is a good way to get things done your way if you dont have one in a guild or is just plane polite... assuming your not like me and almost broke). So unless you find something with a few extra bells and whistles you can go find you own for much cheaper.
