Ok so today I am going around with my lowest pet doing small missions to get up other skills in brawler and marksman. I currently only have all of the first skills in ch so my pet isn't to good so I am taking most of the hits which is fine cause I got my republic blaster on stand by if I need it. I just finished a mission my pet leaves for the third time and I have to recall it. I go back to town and decide I will rest and see how many points I will have left over after I get brawler and marksman.

I find out that I can't master but one which I find I am already getting bored with marksman and know brawler won't keep my interest much anyway. So I decided why not do combat medic but can't do that either. So why not commando get some cool weapons but can't do that either. In fact most of the classes I do want I can't have. I decided to check other classes to see how many points it would take to master 3 professions. For ch it isn't easy enless you want to be a bio-engineer and medic but even there you are cutting it pretty close with 246 sp. Well I would do medic for combat medic but I already have a friend who is a bio-engineer who will make me any pet I want so that is out of the question. It would take 260 points to master ch with two basic skills not including scout. I could do master ch/scout/ranger but I hate the trapping part so that is never going to happen. Tried squad leader and hated it so that to is out of the question.

I then checked to see how many points a master bounty hunter had to spend and was shocked to see only 217 for master bounty hunter. For squad leader with a master in scout and marksman the same but they could master some other profession besides marksman real easy. For 3 basic starting classes it is 231. A master commando can also master weaponsmith or armorsmith or whatever for the same as master 3 basics. Any starting profession like say artisan if you master it you can master weaponsmith and armorsmith for only 203 sp. Yet for a smuggler to master artisan and on other requirement elite profession it is 261 sp.

I just don't see how that it fair at all. I don't want to be a master scout, ranger, squad leader, marksman, brawler, pistoleer, etc. cause I find trapping takes forever and is useless SL buffs never last long enough and take way to much from my action and mind pools. Combat professions bore me. I would much rather be a combat medic or docter so I can actually solo but I don't want to just play around in a profession if I am going to get in it I am either getting to a better profession like ch or I am going to master it. But enless I have more sp points I can't do that. I know I should just go medic but I dont' want to just be a medic I want something better.

I guess what I am trying to say is shouldn't they add more points for certain professions so they can actually be a support class or atleast that is what we are suppose to be. I don't want to be in combat I just want to sit back and let my pet do the work. Combat medic gets diesease and poision which would be real helpful for my weaker pets but I can't get to high in it. I don't think bounty hunter need any extra points but some professions should. Maybe they should have a system to where if you master some profession that makes it impossible to master a 3rd enless it is two basics one of which must have your requirements in it; you get some extra points to master a 3rd like combat medic or commando or something like that. Since the probly won't happen I guess I get to be just like all the other creature handlers doing a combat profession that I will hate and have to master something else that i will eventually hate to. Oh well guess I will have to wait till they add more professions so they eventually add more sp.
