Basicly I am wanting to get up to max level 30 pets. but dont know alot about which boxes to use etc. so i just have a couple questions.

First. I apologize if some of the Masters feel upset at my asking this, but i like my Smuggler/Pistoleer and will not have enough skillpoints to master CH along with the small other things i have. So i just need some general advice. I am currently at a +20 max level pet. those pets are okay but not really enough to stand up to even a few hits of fighting against Dant Mokk and jantas or heaven forbid Rancors like my PA enjoys hunting lol. So I am hoping to get up to level 30 pets.

1. Which skill boxes are the best to go for? I like the whole mount training but not sure if it would be wiser to go another way like the Special attacks or Enbolden pets type stuff. Any advice on what boxes i should get?

2. Once i have a max of lvl 30 what pet should I seek out?? id actually rather raise one myself but if its just not doable ill be okay with using a Bio-engenered one. Right now i currently have a Bakerat thing from Dath at lvl 30.

Thanks for any advice.

they made dabbleing in ch worthless. i would get a probot and a non ch pet. spend your points on something useful like medic.

To be honest... Creatures are cheaper heh.

But personally i do enjoy having the creatures. Ive gave up thinking of this game like Starwars even before i bought it. So im just thinking like a game... and i like the tricks and other things.

Can anyone tell me what boxes would be good? I got the answer to the pet... but am still confused as to which boxes to get.

I think Brackaset is what you mean It's a very decent lvl 30 pet and can be trained as a mount, but there are a number of good pets in that lvl 27-30 range. I recommend going to http://www.swgcreatures.com You'll find all the info you need on pets there. Crimson razor cat, kliknik queen harvester, skreeg warrior elite, vesp scavenger (new and stats are very impressive) are other examples of good pets in that range.

As for what boxes you should get. If you want to tame pets - and you do -then all the boxes in the Taming skill tree. Other than that, check the CH skill tree. The ability to store extra pets is very nice so look forthose boxes. The ability to call2 pets that you get in Management III is nice, butI don't think becomes significant until you can callmuch higher lvl pets than 30. I think that one lvl 30 pet is better thantwo 15 lvl pets.As far as commands for your pets (including mount), you can always find a CH to teach your pet commands that you can't. (Most will do it for free but tip them anyway). No real advantage tohaving theability to train mounts anymore.

So, in summary, for my money I'd concentrate on being able to tame pets and store pets.

1/4/1/1 gives you the ability to call difficulty 30 pets. You can store 18 (from memory) in your data pad. You also get 12 commands which is great for getting lots of exp from taiming and training babies.

I am desperately short of skill points so this is what I am, although mostly i fight with my diff 25 GSP.
