Thread: QUESTION: creature speed reduction, nerf or bug?
Most?? I'd definitely say "All" the CH community wants pet speeds restored.

I seriously doubt its a bug but i keep trying to make since of whythey wouldnerf some creatures speeds. Best reason i
Mostof the CH community including myselfwould very much like there speed back.
I just want the bloomin things to follow me again!! I mean, what's the point in teaching a "follow" command if it won't follow you? I think it must be a bug.If they are nerfing the speed then why do they keep the 15 second call in? If I am hunting with a group and we are moving from lair to lair it's often been a toss up in the pastbetween storing the pets, bombing to the new lair and waiting 15 secs per pet, or just letting them follow me. Now it is pointless waiting for them to follow even on foot.Once my CH level 65 Veractyl is al growed up though I'll just use him from lair to lair then unleash him!

Pretty stupid if you ask me.
Maybe thats why your not saposed to venture out into the wild alone.. a reptillian flier can chase you down, A great plains stalker can apear and rip you off your swoop, a mob of arachnes apear and spit you down to death. Simply running away is dumb, you shouldn't be ventering by yourself, at least anymore. So pets hsould have the speeds they used to have i mean cats = fast birds = fast rancor = slow makes sense.......
It is probably a nerf. spamming follow is gay, CH is getting worse day by day and the world is gunna end!

Far as I'm concerned, this is the #1 issue for veteran MCH's. It was nice that they fixed the XP cap bug in pub 17 (well, if they did, I can't take that on faith just because it was in a patch note), but the bugs affecting MCH's have been neither acknowledged nor scheduled for resolution.
We're the bosses ... need the info.

Ko-a .... pretty important question, any info from the Correspondent netherworld to offer us?

I wouldn't go so far as to say it's THE #1 issue for vet CH's... but it is definitely high on my list. My #1 issue is still pet special attacks. Number Two (pet resistances and armor) has (I hope) been fixed with Pub. 17, although as of midday today I was still waiting for a login server issue on Bria to be resolved so I could check it out. And even though I'm long past Novice CH with my main toon, I was still very glad to see the news about the Novice CH xp cap fix. That one needed to be done for the good of the profession and the game. And #4 on my list would be the tanking problem. I'm wondering whether the proposed "fix" of broadening damage ranges will actually help tanks tank better. The pet speed nerf would probably weigh in here, at #5 on my list.
-I would not forget about the ferocity issue, if it is still there, was last time I played. It made taking pets out in the wild really difficult.
-how about them just standing around after they kill something?
-disappearing bug?
Yes, the pet speed reduction is something that was changed for a reason that I cannot fathom, but there are other issues of equal importance.
Your pets will actually randomly attack targets and actually reach the target and stay with it long enough to kill it? Lucky
