Creature Handler Archive

Don't have WPs handy, but here's a quick rundown:

Kashyyyk Bantha: Talk to Mara Johnson in the Kachirho Tree to start this. Very long quest series.

MCH Varactyl: Talk to an NPC named I think Pire... he's in the SE corner of Kachirho, right beside the Rodian Hunter's camp with a varactyl pet standing beside him. Short quest, kill Jagged Fang and loot the egg.

Bolotaur: Talk to the imprisoned Geonosian in Kachirho Village... he's in one of the ground level huts. He'll send you to do a fairly quick couple missions, then send you to the Geo Cave to pick up the bolotaur from a chest inside the first door. Can be tough if the enhanced kwi are bugged and overspawning... bring friends for that part.

Hope that helps, that's all that's known to be available, and only the MCH Varactyl is any good for use in combat, the other 2 are CL 10 that anyone can use.

For the bolotaur quest you want to have a big group to get into the Geo Lab - I would think the only chars that can do it solo right now are a Smuggler with Feign Death or a cloaked Jedi...

If you have a doc come with you it's a lot easier. How I did it was me and a friend of mine and a doc went. The first attempt the doc shot us up with a whole myriad of things and then we all ran down (burst-run), using a pet to distract the kwi. We both died the first time, but the doc made it into the room. The second attempt we both made it into the room and got to loot the box before we died. The good thing is there is a bug that lets you loot the box even if you're dead, so get in the room. It's just on the left inside the door. The doc was going to rezz us and drag us inside the doorway if we had died again. So, it's not necessary to have a large group. I also hear you can have a jedi repel the kwi to get down there.

use pet to pull single opponant to you kill and repeat

continue until route is briefly clear

for the kashykk bantha quest u need access to the hunting grounds in the later part (talk to kreshok or whatshisname in the rodian hunting camp - u get a nice kashyyk bantha head trophy as first reward).

some of the missions form both the main bantha quest and the hunting ground access quest will be space combat missions.
