Thread: How many of you have pet Rancors, or Maklocs?

I have two Maklocs left over in my datapad from pre-CU, and they're too high level for MCH to tame. Do bio engineers make low level pet Maklocs or Rancors so you can tame them?

Yes, BE's do. I have 2 rancors that I could pull 2 days ago...although I haven't tried since pub17 :?

I got myself a rancor (not a bull or anything) a few days ago. Being that I'm still new to CH, can a BE sample a pet's DNA and increase it stats (along with the level, I assume)?

A BE can sample a pet, but not a tamed one. The resultant critter will most likely be of a lower level than the donor unless the BE mixes in other DNA or artificially inflates the level while sacrificing other statistics (such as HP). This is how it worked under the old BE system, and BE was broken from the CU until the fixes from Pub17. I can't be entirely sure of what the new BE system is doing as I've not had the opportunity to play with it since the servers came up.
