It's very simple

SOE Believes that if your independant enough that you dont need other people to help you get the job done then your not having fun. They want you to rely on others and go out find a group of people to help you kill something for either sport, money or for your craft.

If you doubt this just take a look at space combat, the missions are for you to prove "yourself" worthy of advancement but yetallotof the missions need about 3-6 people of about your level to complete, if this wasnt true then the missions would be ones that 1 person could do.

So in short SOE wants you to make friends and to get friends online so they can make more money.

And here all along I thought it was to make friends in game so you can take those friends to another game with you. Man, was I wrong.

I could never credit this management team with that level of 'Evil Plan' thinking .... they have ruined CH through simple negligence, not calculation. They just don't give a damn what the changes in other parts of the code do to CH. They might as well not even know the profession exists ... certainly they don't care whether it's playable.

If we raised enough ruckus, they'd come on here and make some soothing noises about fixing it in a future code .... all together now: "It'll be fixed in the Combat Balance." God, how many times did we hear that? Two years of a completely useless PvP 'elite' profession and that's all they would tell us when we asked for the most basic bug fixes.

Then they'd go right back to the same Three Stooges School of Software Development they've always studied under. Nyuk nyuk nyuk.... why I oughta ....
