Thread: anyone know hat to start the mch quest?
the level 65 brackesets are mountable. i have one and he is very overprotective lol. hes got 6500 ham and got me thru the geo caves to get that other new mountable.

I completed the quest... or so I thought. Jagged Fang wasa little wounded when I arrived, but there was no-one else around and she was healing rather quickly. My pets and I dispatched her reasonably easily, however when I went to loot her corpse it said I do not have permission to access the container. It also didn't give me a "harvest" option. Not thinking too much of it, I went over to the nest, thinking I would be able to help myself to an egg. Nope...
So, question is... why did I not get my egg?Perhaps it was because she was damaged when I arrived.. although I didn't think that would make any difference as long as I was the one whokilled her.
For now I am just going to hang around for an hour or so and wait until she respawns so I can kill her again.
EDIT: She respawned in 55 minutes. Mission now complete :-)

Jagged Fang is level 55, but she's a tough one to kill.
If you're stashing your egg in your home be sure it's not accessible to anyone else. There's a bug that lets someone tame from the egg if it's in your home. Your egg will disappear and you'll never be able to get the creature ever again.
If she is lvl 55 but tougher than other lvl 55 it is because she is elite mob. Some guy at work tried to explain it to me, basically elite mobs regen faster and have higher HAM. They can't jack up the level to match the HAM/regen because then the level damage multipliers would come into play and she would be much harder for single elite PCs to kill.
Sounds like a limitation of the level system to me, but this guy assured me it is a feature.
