I read all over that gurrecks were common...well, I couldnt pick up any missions at the terminal, I went to the big desert to the north, the hill west of the smuggler outpost, the smaller hill next to the science outpost, traveled all around the flats, and I didnt see one gurreck. Tons of hilltop gurrecks, cowardly, there were missions for plains stalker, and there were desert stalkers in the northern desert. Can anyone help me? Also, I will not buy a BE one, but I thought it quite odd when people say they're "common" and I searched for 5 hours the past 2 days and have seen none. Are the spots im lookin at the right ones? I swear I looked all over the middle of the planet, are they more towards the outside mountains? Or what kind of group do I need to get the missions, I grouped up with my two GSPs, solo, and with another person and their pet, but all we got were 23k, 20k 17k missions, but none were gurrecks...I ran into more prowling gurrecks than normal ones (which I said earlier, none).

Every time that I've ever seen a Gurreck was int he forrest to the South. Watch out for the mereks while you're looking. They can be nasty.

I would sugggest that you visit swgcreatures.com.

I had a simmilar problem myself when I went lookin for these beauties. Search the areas marked on the website and be patient. Even knowing pretty much where to look it took a coulpe of days to find some. On the up side, they will usually drop more than one baby.

I have spent a lot of time on Endor in the past months helping my husband hologrind, and in that time I've never seen one around the vicinity ofResearch Outpost. The only time I've ever seen them (there were a pair of them) was en route to the Marauder Cave on the POI (North west corner of the map). Hope that helps.

I have never known normal Gurrecks to be common. I classify them as rare, only due to not being able to find adult spawns in order to produce a baby. I found both of mine about 5 months ago. I was north of Smugglers about 1K to 1.5K It was a random spawn of 2, after killing the first one, a baby spawned. The second one I got a week later in the same area, but there was 2 separate spawns of two. I had to kill off 3 before the baby spawned.

I located them using track from the Ranger tree. I was looking for Screecher lairs and just decided to do a track and there they were, I couldn't believe the excitement when I saw them. That was the first time I ever saw one in the wild. It was a great experience (about as good as it can get in a video game :smileywink
