I have a pair of cats i use for tanking Krayts (yes i still make it work) and for the first time yesterday noticed that half way through a fight with a Giant one of my cats thta has served me so well had its kinetic resists drop from 60 down to 30. It had not been incaped but i have used these to kill many hundrededs of Krayts and never seen this happen before. What is happening here?

Creatures lose armor rating when their HAM gets low, just like player armor does. I think it happens when they are at 25% HAMs or so. Although I wasn't sure if pets lost armor but it seems they might.

interesting.. that would explain why the bottom 25% always goes much faster than the top 25%

Ok, so it has never been incapped EVER, or it just wasn't at that time?
If a krayt incaps it at all, it counts as a killer blow, and drops your pet's vitality. If it's not the HAM thing, check to make sure that your pets' vitality is still ok. Remember: once it starts getting lower (as in current vs max, aka 70/100), the stats start going down.
Just another possiblity, and the real reason why vitality packs exist for pets!

its good on vitality. Just working like the first guy said and like it does when you are kililng high lvl mobs but i had never seen it on my pets before. Dont usualy let them get that low of health though so i guess that would explain it
