hey everyone. i just reactivated my SWG subscription. couldn't find any other games worth playing until HL2 and D3 come out. anyway, i'm a master CH but haven't played since about the time mounts went live. can someone post a quick "state of the CH" for me? are we weaker, stronger, loved, hated, etc? when i left people hated us b/c they thought we were too strong. is that still the case? any new cool creatures? any creatures (possibly in my datapad) gone extinct? fill me in!

Basically as SOE planned...

Tons of peeps gave up on their CH skills and went Tank. TKA/Fencer/Brawler etc.

I use to love my CH skills, and I check back on the forum and just shake my head at what has been done to the class. It used to be fun...

TH seems hellbent on eliminateing it

I was once 4-3-3-4 CH and unwillingly gave it all up for my 2nd holo. Only to open my 3rd holo to get CH. After I got over my anger and disgust toward the holo system, I tried to level up my CH for 2 weeks. I found the leveling process so painfully slow and grueling. After almost 2 weeks of leveling, I was only at 1-1-1-1. It became a grind. It was no longer fun.

Being a casual player, it would take me 2-3 months to make it to master CH. This profession used to be fun and worth it. The "balancing" was really a nerf and IMHO leveling in CH is no longer worth my time and my avatars energy, which is really a shame.

oh, well, i'm not really wondering about the CH grind, as i am already master. i just got back into the game after being gone for several months. just wondering if i should continue to play my master CH, or go to another server and start up a brand new character...
