Thread: The next skill?

I am a 'casual' player, I play Friday and Saturday evenings only, thinks makes for a slow advance. After a couple of weeks, I believe that I should be able to train for my next CH skill. I am currently 2-2-2-2. I also, mostly, a solo player... In the opinion of other Creature Handlers before me, should I opt for Creature Taming 3 in order to pick up higher level pets (going from max28 to max 38) or should I opt for Pack Management 3 in order to run 2 pets? I currently have 2 huurton huntresses waiting in the kennels. Supplemental questions... Will I be able to 'run' both huntresses at the same time? And given the current state of the pets, I have a hard enough time chasing after my pet as he (she?) runs into the sunset, I wonder what the challenges of two would be?
I appreciate any and all advice and guidance...

I'm actually not far ahead of you (3/3/2.75/3) and I went for Management 3 first of all. Mostly for the fact I could still keep my pet of choice out if I came across a baby. On the other hand, having Taming 3 gives you the option to train Special attack 1 (even though it's bust) and would give you a better chance against aggro mobs. When I was at 2/2/2/3, I could not for the life of me train a merek assassin (CL 31), despite 20+ attempts. But as soon as I got Taming 3, I got it on the 2nd attempt. Buying some +25/+25 taming clothing would certainly help you in this respect though and these are pretty cheap now milk is abundant. You seem to be confusing your taming bonus and max pet levels though; at 3/2/2/2, your max pet level is 31, the +10 taming vicious creature bonus merely increases your chances of taming an aggro mob, it does not determine your pet level. As regards your 2 Huntresses, no you won't be able to call them simultaneously, they are CL 28 I believe, so the 2 together would be 56. Quite a while away yet, unfortunately.
