Well been a Master CH for about 3-4 months since I first started. CH is still one of my favorite professions, but now it ends up being one of the most broken now.
I do have some complaints, but majority of them are your typical type (rare pets issues, bugs, pve/pvp related).
What pretty much made me decide to drop it overall was a few nights ago when I was pvping helping to defend a faction hq. About 10 or so Imps attacked a faction hq being defended by about 10-15 or so rebels. Was rather laggy. I pulled out my pet, knowing for a fact they aren't that great in pvp...
Yanked out a gaping spider recluse hoping that I could maybe get a AoE poison off in time before he dies... well, sent him in, 2-3 min later he's dead. Anytime I've fought a gaping spider recluse, they always tend to get it off right when the fight starts or about a min after the fight begins.
Another thing that made me decide to drop it was the fact I was the only one that even bothered yanking a pet out in the pvp ordeal...
Anyways to all those that's working on CH and so on, keep on going. It is a great support profession, just it isn't for me anymore because I end up tanking just as well as the best pet out there, and even better actually, less intensive on stimpacks, and so on. I still have my gripes, but CH will and always will be one of the top professions thats fun to be.
I hope that I do end up going back to CH after all these nerfs and balances, so I'm just going with the flow trying to adjust with the changes. Still going to keep all my pets (hoping like I said when they balance everything, I'll come back), even my old gurreck Karnage I use to pvp with ALL the time; my favorite pet to pvp with when I first hit Master CH. ^_^.
Good luck to all you CH out there. =)

Sorry to see you leeave. Enjoy whatever profession you feature on to. I'm gonna stick it out myself though I ahve been been questioning myself why I stay.
I do agree with you there ont he recluse thing. Seems to be an issue with all pets. Thier wild counterparts pull off spcials all the time int he wild and soon as possible. Yet our tamed versions rarely if at all ever do them.
Recluse: twice
King Merek :Never
Mantigue Screecher : 1 time (was pretty damn kool though!)
Frenzied graul: Never
Pair of Duel custom pvp razor cats dizzy-poison / KD- Disease : Biggest Joke Theyw ere given range so never run to their targets instaed each fight they run about 5 min toward tehir target then get in that crouch postiona nd growl Never sen the poison gove off buthave seen a dizzy a few times and diese a couple times .
Now HEres the kicker. Tell me has anyone else noticed this...
Take those smae pets into PVE or faction missions and they seemt o pull the specials almost RELIGOUSLY

I really wouldn't use any kind of pets for PVP. just PVE. Pretty much any master combat prof can solo any of my pets. For PVE CH rocks though IMO.
