Last nite i was wandering around on Lok when i stumbled across a Salt Mynock(baby)

These critters are not highly prized by any means but it was the first baby i had run across on Lok. I couldnt tame it! Im a MCH but i couldnt tame this little sucker. I even had a sunvisor with +24 taming bonus and deleted a creature from my datapad but still recieved the "You Cannot Tame" message.
This must be a bug, anyone else have this trouble?

i had it a few times when i typed /tame - checking the situation i didn't have anything targeted at all 
but no - never happened to me.
did you try to relog ?
