Wasteland cu pas are not "officially" rare, but they seem to be very difficult to find. I've run into them twice, and both time there were babies present.

I've been playing this game for nearly a year now, 2 months of beta and since a few days after launch.

I have a wasteland cupa on my datapad (who because I made him a mount, is as dumb as a post and can't pass underneath arches).

I was looking for them the other night and, after an hour or so of driving around, found some near Ben Kenobi's place. To the north I believe...maybe 1000m away at the most. There were two spawns (no lairs), and one baby present.

To /bump SioBabble's post, they are not "officially rare" but it took me 2 days to find a spawn. I found mine somwhere between Kenobi's Place and the Sarlaac.

Once you find a spawn, the chances of a baby are pretty high. I found 2 in mine. Finding a spawn can be somewhat of a challenge.

Good Luck!

sorry if you got the impression as if i was looking for a Wasteland Cupa.

i actually never was for i didn't know of their existence till i tripped over a baby - so i tamed it.

i like its size and its ham though.
it looks more like a creature to mount than its regular relatives.

i've seen a couple more of them on Kettemoor - almost at the same location = Arch Mesa, it's a section of the Mos Espa race track, close to Mos Arcus though.

oh and why i asked whether they're rare?
'cause i've hardly anyone else on Kettemoor having one as a regular pet or mount.

and yes Tazz, i made the same experience. since i got Rosinante mounted she doesn't follow anymore not even through an arch

Great. I would love to get my hands on one of those. I just wonder what my chances are going to be of taming one with only 0-0-0-4 or something similar. Thats all the skill points I can manage for that. I do have a nice set of taming clothes so... maybe?
