In a burst of hubristic folly I feel compelled to post this despite my hunch that no one will care.

When I first started playing this game two professions caught my fancy immediatly. Rifleman because I think sniping is "kewl" and CH because it's clearly the coolest profession ever. Then I found myself seduced by the darkness that is the holo-grind. So I mastered my first few holos, ground professions I liked and professions I disliked. All in all it wasn't bad, but after awhile I stopped really having fun (I presume this was caused in part by the jealousy evoked by seeing CHs riding by on Banthas trailed by a menagerie of nasty critters.)

So one day I was sitting in one of the interminable numbers of camps I had built to grind survival XP for Ranger, when I had an epiphany: Screw Hologrinding. Screw Jedi and screw paying 15 bucks a month to not have fun. Therefore with a happy heart I dropped my ass right out of Ranger and ran to the first CH trainer I could find and I have not looked back.

Sure CH is hard to level, sure it takes more work than a lot of other professions but, you know what? I'm having fun every step of the way! I've gotten to experience the joy of having my first tame (a chuba I named Chuba_Checker) the anger at having my pets do inexplicable things (Where are you going Howlie_Mandel? Come back! NO! DON'T ATTACK THE LAIR!) and the bitterness of seeing my pets bested by angry mobs (My Capper Spineflap can't take a Geonosian Alert Droideka!? Preposterous!)

So, in conclusion, I have returned to the best damn profession in the game, and am steadily chugging towards Master with my crew the "Labor Union" (So called because they are a "Piket" Line). If you see a guy named Quin on Naritus slogging along with a Menagerie of pets with terrible names give advice, trade stories, or just say hello cause he is here to stay!
