Some suggestions:

Greater Sludge Panthers have 8k HAM at CL 26.

Mountain Murras have 4500 HAM and light armor, and they're only CL 16 so you can use two at once pretty early on.

Mountain Krevols have like 2700 HAM I think and light armor at CL 14

There's some others, but any of those would work for a pretty low level CH (especially the mountain krevols for a brand new novice)

Visit your local BE clothing shop and buy yourself some clothing with a bonus to mask scent, taming wild creatures, and taming viscous creatures. The cap is +25, so get whatever combination you can do cap out those three skill mods.

Find an area with lots of low level babies. My personal favorites are the lowland basin between Wayfar and Bestine on Tatooine, and the flats along the ocean between Theed and Kaadara on Naboo. In my opinion the best way to get started is to tame, train, and release pets for exp. Once you get done with a few boxes on the CH tree, if you can tame something that won't die in one or two hits, then try fighting stuff and have your pet attack at the last second to get exp.

From there on out it's up to you.
