I saw a bunch of these recently. I wished I was still a CH, as they have area poison specials, and decent resists, and there was a baby.

I can't speak from experience but I just noticed these on SWG Creatures and they look pretty good, pretty much the same stats as a Gaping Spider Hunter with better specials for one more DL. I'm gonna go look for one of these soon

I have had a recluse since I was at a point in working up the CH treewhen I could first tame one. Had one heck of a thrill getting the tame, and have been very happy with it as a pet. Lethal, as I like to call her, tanks link a champ, has those nice specials, and is pretty mean to boot. There are plenty of better pets out there, but if you like BIGbugs and/or spiders, and a pretty reliable durable pet, I suggest picking up one of these. ![]()
I like Lethal so much I have another one maturing on my datapad right now.

Greetings,
Though the Recluse's Poison Spray special is nice, it does have one downside. If you are fighting creatures which are not social, it can cause many of them to join the aggro. If you aresoloing something like Piket Longhorn lairs, for example, shouldyou attack the male, the females will ignore you. Poison spray may get them all going at once.
Good Luck to All,

What the above poster said is very true. Poison spray is a double edged sword. Once I was helping a pack of malklocs fight off a predator, but after we downed the beast the famliy of malklocs started attacking me and my recluse. Apparently, some of the poor malkocs got poisoned during the melee. Other than this risk, they are very nice pets to havewith you...

As far as natural pets go, these are one of my favorites. I have four in my datapad that constantly see use. Conveniently I can have one out while riding my savage humbaba. (This combination made the screenshot of the day in fact, 181 or thereabouts.)
