Once you are master CH, then what?

It is as many people have stated here, you very rarely tame anything anymore, the driving force is gone 8to earn xp), what is left?

You can use high level creatures to fight and do quests for money, but what should have been the main goal whith your proffesion (to tame creatures) is gone..

Non CH characters can use up to level 10 character, the ch that can use higher levels don´t buy anything from you beacuse they can buy a better version from a BE and tame it themselves. Questions regarding perma-death of creatures have been raised in this forum as a mean of creating an economy for master CH. I have a diffrent suggestion, another road to go..

My thought is this.. Enable the master CH to lower the level of a creature for a timeperiod of a few days. Let the master train it and lets say, by this temporarily lowering its level by 20 for a period of lets say three days. It would then let a non CH use a quality pet for a timeperiod.. as the masters training wears off, the non CH player looses his control over the pet, and would have to see a MCH again to renew the training.

This would let you earn your living from the proffession whithout having to permanently destroy alot of pets, witch I am sure, would not help economy for CH anyway...

This sounds kind of dumb. Well maybe. If you use a level 60 rancor, and made it level 10, it has around 2.k HAM and 30% resistances and light armor... so you just bypassed what the devs didnt want players to have. I think a different method is in order... how about we get some mission terminals, non combat pets for other uses. CH has always been about having a big meatshield that does decent dmg... that needs to change. We need more uses than tanking, and we need them fast.

Another thing is that my number 1 complaint about CH, well besides the game breaking bugs that go on for months without being fixed(we are not a "Priority"in devspeak) is that CH takes way to much effort time and grinding to reach master. The profession is hard to macro, and you should not have to macro in order to master ANY profession... because thats just stupid. There should be different ways of geting CH exp. maybe multi quest to advance, mission terminals that give good CH exp.. less skill points to master, anything that makes it so CH is rewarding and challanging but does not take many months of grinding to reach master.

If these things arent fixed, then I am honestly going to go droid handler, because its quite obvious from all the unfixed bugs, the devs ignoring us, other professions flameing us lead me to a final conclusion: CH is going to die... with droid handler taking its place. I dont mean to soundso doom sayer like, but CH was nerfed more than it should... the idea was to eleminte dabblers however I guess they really wanted to eleminate CH instead. Oh well, because a medium armor droid with laser cannons is much better than a rancor that fights with tooth and nail.

It was not intended as a suggestion to really lower the level, only the controll level and never as much as 50 levels ie a lvl 60 rancor could never be lowered to 10, I have not given alot of thoughts to the details, but it my original thought was lets say being able to lower a GSP lvl 25 to 10 or perhaps a lvl 30-35 fora period of some days. The very high level pets should still be exclusive to the CH.

Something similiar to that might work if the previous Breeding idea worked out. Although I'm still not convinced that pet breeding shouldn't be a BE skill (although I still remember the pre-release days when BE were called Farmers). Maybe if breeding goes in, there could be an option to either breed a slightly better and slightly lower level litter.

*shrug*
