First off, let me say that I DO wish they were tamable, but there are a few things I would like you to look at:
Frenzied Graul Data
http://www.swgcreatures.com/detail.asp?creatureID=3
Bull Rancor Data
http://www.swgcreatures.com/detail.asp?creatureID=596
(God bless this site btw)
The first major problem with the FG is the CL. I have learned about how CL's are determined for creatures since I made a BE on my alt account, and I definitely think the FG is off by at LEAST 5 cl. It should still be lower than the BR because of the lower damage and HAM. Plus it has one vulnerability. But the FR's CL is definitely too low. The only thing that is keeping the CL low atm is maybe the energy resists since it s at 35% compared to the BR at 60%. Energy is probably the highest costing resist on a pet when considering CL's.
The second major problem is the kinetic resists. A bio-engineer can only pull off light armor with 60% at max. FR has light armor with 65%. That's basically armor 2 for kinetic if I am not mistaken. That would mean that they are unstoppable in straight up kinetic fights. The highest tamable kinetic resist with armor 1 is currently the delerious merek avenger (45%):

Even the BR only has 35% kinetic.
The third problem I see with the FG is the open wounds special. While not as big of a deal as the 65% kinetic, I still think maybe they didn't want this special to be tamable (can't even BEAOE attacks atm). For those of you who don't know what open wounds is, it's an area of effect bleed attack. It is pretty nasty too. Currently there are only 3 tamable pets with AOE specials, the mantigrue screecher (plague strike), bull rancor (plague strike), and gaping spider recluse (poison spray).
While I still wish it was tamable again for all of you, I don't think it will be anytime soon. That's just my personal belief.
Peace.

No CH controlled pet is unstoppable in kinetic fights. Ever. Even withpet DOTsagainst a PVPer of absolutly any standing, as long as he has buffs and has some fair weapons and has a fair idea of what he is doing you will not win, im sorry if it shocks you but its the truth. It will most likely be dead in under 15 seconds matter of fact. And I speak from personal experience using kinetic resist 60 pets, they all die in a very short and pathetic manner as if they didn't exist, i seriously dought an extra 5 percent will make the world start crying for nerfs again. I would think from my PVPbattles all month I would know a thing or 2 of what happens when you put a pet against a meele user....

Pets receive full PvE damage inflicted by PCs in PvP.
They cannot hope to survive this, espeically since they can only inflict mitigated PvP damage.
Besides, smart PvPers find the CH and get rid of him, rendering the pets inert.

Actually joker its only their attack thatis no longer mitigated, their defense is still not PVP protected
. Unless of course all the good PVPers on my server triple sliced their weapons making them all 4 times stronger lol....

What tamable creature or BE creature doesn't fall to the ground in less than 10-15 seconds in PVP? And even if you have one that lasted 15-20 seconds, would you take the chance of having VIT loss? I never PVP with pets and I am master CH / master pike. I'm referring to the FG as unstoppable for non-PVP. Yes some NPC's have pikes and such that can stomp the FG as well. In a straight up creature to creature kinetic fight the FG would be unstoppable.
You should have given me the benefit of the doubt that I wasn't referring to PVP.

if you did mean PvP then what the heck is the problem with having FG as a pet? you mean to tell me if i chose to destroy lets say the geo cave with my frezied graul and a swordsman does it with his sword and we both get to ackley that everyone should cry "Nerf the CH!"? there is no difference between my 3 BE cats with 60% kinetic taking on PvE and a FG taking on PvE. plus stuff like geo cave needs high resists in other things too cause they use different types of weapons. a FG will not work in all situations. I.E (if they would actually fit) i wouldnt take a FG to a corvette mission because they do energy damage in there. id use one of my other pets (like rhoa kwi pack leader that has 65% energy resist) that has higher energy resist. I dont see any reason why we shouldnt be able to tame them. And if they dont want us to have open wounds as a special attack then change it. it would be cool but i can see how ithas an advantage over a bull rancor's plague strike. however that special is not so strong that it cold take a person down alone.

there is only one reason why f-grauls will never be tamable
it has nothing to do with PVP or PVE
the only reason it will never happen is they dont care about fixing it.
They (devs, soe) dont consider it important and since it only effects ch dont really care.
you can come up with all the theories you want and i'm sure they will be intelligent ones but the simple truth is
No One At Soe Cares

I admit i did not take into account PVE uses when I first thought about this argument, but even so, against the creatures which really matter i SERIOUSLY dought an area bleed will have a massive balance breaking effect on our power......not even a tusken witch doc bleed could touch a medium or high end MOB, as HAM goes up, DOT effectiveness goes down.
