Well we were given the ability to survey/sample while mounted. Turns out they meant mounted on vehicles too.
So much for a benefit to a mount over a vehicle.

you would think they might throw a bone to us.
some might say that people would just want to sample from vehicles later anyways but considering everything that has happened in the last year and a half some sort of bone thrown our way would have been a nice apology since we all know a written apology will never come.
they nerf (balance), give us something then make it obsolete 2 weeks later, they insult us, have us chasing non-existing babies, and ban us for speaking out.
what will it take for them to realise what they have done to the ch community.

Hah! Thx for that info and i (stupid, naive kid) thought that they wanted to make mounts more useful for us.

Well, I don't think anyone should be surprised. Not every surveyor uses a creature mount, so they wanted EVERYONE to benefit from the change. I have no real problem with it.

we can survey/sample now but still can track on mounts or vehicles. what a load of garbage.

It's something you didn't have before, that people were asking for. "Thank you" would not be totally inappropriate.

errr, thank you for what exactly? I may be speaking for myself but not many CHs have any artisan surveying skills.

Possibly, but many just prefer to use their vehicles to move quicker. That's just from my observation and from what playershave told me. Now, supposedly, they have fixed the spawn issue so that you can actually see spawns when riding a vehicle. So, the demand for mounts may decrease. There is still a market.

No, they didn't fix this. I still ride around on my swoop, holding down the shift key (to make it slower), and spawns still don't pop up until I'm past them. And I know it's not my computer because I get a ping of 80, 0% packet loss and 30FPS while out in the wilderness.

Here we go again. Darth you so spout SOE rhetoric all the time.
What is so unbelievable about saying motorized vehicles move way too fast to take any sensitive reading while mounted? Give a reason to make bio-mounts better than motorized.
What people want? SOE doesn't care about this they did JTL before the CURB and it was obvious what people wanted there.
SO TH, err I mean Darth. Spout that stuff in the general forums. We already know what you, umm, they are going to do to CH. We should not and eventually are not suprised when things do not turn out our way.
And "thank you"? I would thank you to bugger off, this is the CH forum where we express our wants. You have not voiced one valid thing for CH. You have blindly followed the Devs and not one coherent thought issued in that defense.
This was a spot where SOE could have done the right thing and made CH moutns viable. Yet they did not, their own apathy for the profession is continued on day after day after day after day. You are just pat of the propaganda machine and allow yourself to be with your fanboi attitude.
There is no reason for me to thank anyone for giving me nothing and taking away more than they have given. It would be like thanking the murder that killed your family.

True, but nobody will buy any more mounts now like before.
