Yesterday I was in Coronet getting ready to check my GPS waypoints to find my own kitten (Since Milteck won't give me his
), when I saw 2 MCH's. I stopped to chat and we were joined soon after by 2 other CH's. I don't know what makes CH's flock together like this (maybe the year plusof nerf). However, we were doing what all CH's do (I think it's a requirement), we started pulling out all our pets to show off our babies. This was almost like a game of who has the most rare pet, but it's fun to play.
"I see your Rhoa Kwi Packleader, and raise you a Manigrue Screecher"
"I see your Screecher and raise you a Gaping Spider Queen"
"I see your Gaping Spider Queen and raise you a Bull Rancor"
"The Bull Rancor wins"

When ever I see any other CH's doing any thing with their pets in a city, I drop what ever I'm doing and join them

This is one reason why I will never drop CH. There is a certain bond amoung creature tamers and trainers that is unlike any I've found with any other profession.Stop and take a look at the pets in your
datapad - I bet you have more than one a friend or a stranger has given you that is one of your prized
possesions - One of the greatest moments of my life came early in my careerwhen a wandering wookie gave me my first Kimogila in a dark alley behind the Mos Eisley cantina. That was the defining moment
when I decided I too would continue my training and attain Master status - a journey that has lasted over one year (i dont grind - I train) the sharing amoung the ch community whether its livestock or tips or just plain goodwill in generalmore than offsets all the nerfs we endure and the comments from friends that ch is a wasted profession.
Now that I have made it to Master status I take pride in carrying on the tradition, helping out up and coming
ch's and providing them with good quality pets to assist them on their path and giving them incentive
to strive for that next level. I also do what I can to aid non-ch who more often than not forget to tip.
So to all my fellow CH brothers and sisters from novice on up a hearty hello and keep up the high
standards that continue to set this profession apart fromthe rest.

I think its in the CH secret handshale that "thou must show off pets". Just last week, we had about 5 CH's, from nov up to 2 mastes at the coronet bazaar training mounts as fast as we could target the pets owner and say "transfer". After things winded down, we started whipping out our prized possessions and discussing how we came about naming them what they were named. It was fun, alot of fun. After that, we took some of the other CH's out and helped them get some XP so that they too could get closer to joining the ranks of the anointed. That also was fun, becouse thee is nothing bette rthan being with a group of ppl and seeing a baby mottled wrix wander by and being able to tell a 2/3/1/3 Ch "go tame that, its a good starter pet and has med disease specials, I'll train the specials for you" and seeing the joy on thier face as they get a tame. I probobly will never ever drop this profession, no matter how much they nerf it. Taht, and I lvoe riding around on my savage humbaba.. doesnt come close to a speeder, but I am neve rin a hurry to get to most places anyway.
