What are all the snake-like critters in SWG, and where are they? I know there are the rasps (sp?) on naboo. Those are too cobra-like though. Not original enough.

Anything out there with some flava? I hear there are Crystal Snakes or something like that on Yavin (I think). How are those?

So how far up the taming branch do I need to be for one of these? I'm at Taming2, getting close to 3 but would rather spend the exp on something else if possible...

You can tame and train Crystal snakes. I have one. I am mid level CH(3 boxes in mangement and 2 in all the others) and I have one. He is my favorite pet to walk around with. I went to Yavin and hooked up with a Master CH. We went different directions and tried to tame. While he did get a giant crytal snake and gave it to me unfourtanetly I got slaughtered by one. It went through both my razor cats and then me. We got one but the second one was more than we could handle. Yes I tried to run away and call my pets off but that things spits venom and poisons you. Well I am starting to ramble. The point is you can train them but you have to immediately teach it group while in the middle of its lair so that later when you want to train it tell it to group. Once it groups you slelct it by clicking on its tab under your name. Once you have done this you then use the ` key(the one right next to 1) to bring up the radial menu. Now before you ask how do you target it in the wild before you tame it, you simply use the tab button to cycle through the targets. I hope this helps.

There are rasps in the agrilat crystal swamp on Corellia. Can't remember the exact type.

Yeah crystal snakes live on yavin 4 but I don't know if you can tame them or not when I was there I couldn't target them? I have seen someone with them before so I think that you can only get them from a Bio Engineer.

I know a CH with a translucent snake. A glass snake or something. While it looked cool, it wasn't practical. He was unable to select it, therefor couldn't teach it any commands.

The glass snake sounds interesting. Sure it wasn't just a graphics bug?

On Yavin 4 you can find crystal snakes and giant crystal snakes. You can tame them, but once tamed you cannot select them that I could see. They are translucent except for the spine which is dark. They are all over near the southern outpost.

Saw some Spined Snake somethingorothers just outside of the fortress on Lok too. Easy parents to kill even though they were red to me... 945hp or so.

I was able to train a Giant Crystal Snake on Yavin 4. I had a hell of a time doing it, took about 20+ train attempts and the thing aggroed on me 3 times, had to run away and wait till it stopped chasing me. When i finally did tame it I didn't have any trouble training it. Its still growing so i havent used it much, but will be 9200 ham, and does 310-330 damage. So far when ive used it, it hasnt poisoned anything, not sure if it has to be full grown to do that. I also found and tamed a Spitting Rawl outside of Deja Peak in Naboo, 6500 ham, level 9 ferocity. But just recently released it to make room for my grual so not sure if it was poisonous. Those are the two highest level snakes ive seen so far. Hope that helps.

Spined snakes on Lok, don't know if they have babies.

Spitting Rawls, Fanned Rawls, and one other type of Rawl on Naboo. Spitting and Fanned both have babies.
