im at 1/2/1/1 and i only get around 350xp per creature max. Is this right?

mostly im using a level 18 BE'd hermit spider

yes about right try useing the lowest pet you have and try hunting on dathomir or endor you should get about 1000 -1500 k per mob ie rancor , but pets cant tank these at low level so you will need to help ,

Depends on the stats of the pet. 60% kin with light armor will survive a lot better than 40% without.

When you get more skill boxes in CH you will get more commands to trainnew pets. When you get to the last few boxes a baby will yieldaround 2k xp. Got my last box just training all the babies I meet on my GPS quest (not GPS babies mind you...

). Took me a couple of nights.

DrGonzo12, be happy you get 350 xp per kill.

Back in the day we never had BE'ed pets because the game shipped with the BE profession broken. WE never had these buffs either so you had to watch your back as well as your pets. Just have fun with grinding CH and take your time.

You have no idea how easy it is now to grind ch compared to back in the day.

Only thing we had over the CH grinding of today is that we could focus more on pet levels instead of having pet levels spread over all the boxes.

if you have a main combat skill I did really well with squill caves on Tat I think. CH = good times =)

I did most of my lvl ing on Dantooine, with a CL 15 cowardly gurreck who was buffed.. I went after Piket, Voritor grassland trackers, and Mokk, Kunga, and Janta.. the voritor and tribe MOBs yeilded around 1000 to 15000 XP PER kill, depending on what kinda tribesman it was... beware the kunga rock shapers tho, they are 100% kinetic resist... I am TKM, so me NOR my pet did any damage to them, had to use my spitting rawl to poison it and my friend came with me to use a flame thrower on these guys... basically, if he is 100% kin resist, your pet does no damage, you get no XP.. the poison form the snake got me XP on these tho.
