Well, I ran into a peko peko albatross AND a swamp stalker just E of Keren last night, about 60m from each other, this on Ahazi.

I'm going to try to look for GPS tonight or tomorrow night...I have a feeling this is the time to look for those rares, with the spawns much more like they were in the early months of release.

Been looking since the patch for the GPS and also did another 50 or so bull lairs (totaling just over 400 now ) and nothing...

I met an MCH the day of the patch who said he was going out looking for a GPS as well, about 15 minutes into it he sent he a /tell talking about how the spawn rate for all creatures had soared. Sounds like its much more possible to get these rare pets now...

Yes, that was me. I went out and couldn't walk more than 100M without seeing 2 or 3 lair spawns. This is a major change from when I was searching before and I could walk around for an hour without seeing a single creature. Still no GPS spawns, but I'm going to keep looking. I've added 2 more waypoints to my search pattern (total of 6 now), and I'm trying to criss cross from point to point.

I don't think that spawns in general increased. Just the "improved" load times of mobs gives the impression that there actually are more around - before the patch, you had to stand still for like 2 minutes in an area to get all mobs spawning.. Apart from that, the only thing that really increased is the Krayt spawn and static spawns at POI (especially Nightspider CultCave; went there yesterday to catch the Reclusive Cavern Spider Queen (DNA Sampling) which didnt really respawn before the patch until the server had a restart), so I am not sure if it will be easier to find rare pets - nevertheless, keep trying

was messing about on corellia last night and there is alot more mobs about now it great me thinks , GPS im coming for ya in a bout a month or so

i think they have increased myself. I say a freaking FLOCK of howling plumed rasps last night, like 10-12 of them together. Every 50clicks a new spawn came about though. Krayts have been upped, spawn wise, why not everything else. More creatures makes it much more worthwhile at any rate.
