soi noticed earlier female narglatches bit the dust.. sucks when i just went out for a couple of hours the other day to get some...


so even elite rancors and stuff like that are out too? i see them still on vendors with their old stats? whats the deal

i absolutely hate it when people call other people newbs or nub or noob not because i think its mean(which i would really care less) its because you must be a noob at mmorpgs.. say newbie its not meant to be an insult

All elite tamables are nerfed as of this publish. The ones for sale with the huge stats are pre-CU and will be balanced once you try to pull it out.

They warned us that this patch was going in that all elite pets were being downgraded to normal stats of their CL, because the new specials system would make them too powerful. The Nargies are still a good combo with the right specials, not to mention since they are CL22, they will train faster.

Since the combat "upgrade", pet rancors are pretty useless. There were never any tameable elite rancors. Although the thought of a pet ancient bull rancor would be nice.



Anakin: Master, I think my lightsaber is getting dull. Its not doing nearly as much damage as it used to.
Obi-Wan: O.k. when we're done showing the youglings around the temple, we'll stop by the bazaar and you can buy a new crystal. I hope you've got a couple million credits saved up for this.
Anakin: WHAT?!!?? I don't have THAT kind of cash!
Obi-Wan: Well you could try sharpening it on these younglings. I've got a headache and all their questions are driving me NUTS!
Anakin: hmmm.... Sharpen my lightsaber on younglings...... hmmmmmm.....
Obi-Wan: uh, that was a joke Anakin. I'll spot you the cash for a new crystal THIS time, but next time you're on your own.

Well I dunno...a CL65 Bull Rancor is still pretty nice. Nothing like the pre-CU pets, but still...

Our elite narglatches lost their ham on last publish - we had JFreeman come in to say that was not intended - where is he now? I sincerely hope it is not intended now either, or we are seriously in trouble when trying to survive out there. As a CH/TK team of 2 players with 6 nargs, my guild mate and I still have a lot of trouble surviving on planets like Dath. With the 3rd (?) nerf in a row - they have just pushed a master ch of nearly 2 years standing, back to being a novice with the choice of what pets do I kill in my datapad - again.

There are some skills that will give the strength back to your pets.


e.g. Marring storm. At level 2 it gives a 12% bonus to damange (min and max). Add 3 other skills to your Nargs, and they be pretty nasty lil' cats...

To get these skills I have to have space in my datapad. I have none. I need to now "kill" some of my pets. I don't want to do that again. Seems like every publish, I have to murder another friend - and yes - that's what it feels like.

And I forgot to say thx for the information - it will help, if I ever work out which pets to clear out.
