Im really sorry if this has been asked before andit probably has. BE pets on the vendors will those pets keep the stats i see while browseing throught them on the vendors once i buy them? I keep hearing about how BE pets are being converted and it makes theirs stats sucks or they level beyond 70. just wanted a heads up before i pay for a BE pet and it gets converted into something i cant use.

That depends on whether the BEdeeds on the vendor are pre-CU or post-CU. The pre-CU BE pets will most likely need adjustment, but you're not prompted to do so until you tame the pet, store it, then call it again. Pre-CU BE deedswill have the typical stats you're used to seeing. The new pet deeds look different in that their HAM and damage are lower and the resists may or may not show. If your deed is above 30 you may consider adjusting the pet's level, which will boost the pet's level according to the stats. If you are wary of it going over the 70 CL limit you may want to adjust the stats and keep the level. If the deed has light armor it will most likely jump higher than the max CL of 70, so adjust the stats to the current level in this case.

In testing my deeds with my MCH hubby we found that 99% of the time if the CL is 45 or under and has no armor then you adjust the level. CLs have gone up from 2 to 24 levels. Stats/resists/damage/specials/ranged all remained the same. Specials were not trainable. You will need to watch your combat log to see if the pet auto-specials but I have not seen it happen with my pets.

If the deed has armor, no matter what the CL, do not adjust the level. This will add 100 to the CL (min we found many had 200 added). If you choose to adjust the stats on these pets/deeds, the current HAM is lowered by 60-65%, resists switch to the new method (e.g., 2300 for all resists except LS which is Vul), damage changes to the new method (e.g., 45-250) with some deeds/pets gaining damage and some loosing damage, specials disappear on some and stayed on others but were untrainable, ranged stayed and was trainable.

We are hoping that this will not remain the case for BE crafted pets but have had no information forthcoming from the devs.
