yes its official.. im coming back. With all the things that have changed i figured i should just respec to the profession that has always gave me the most enjoyment (and -pain lol). If your looking fora read i believe my first contributions to the ch profession were way back around the 6-8month of the begining of the game. Dropped Ch twice each time now only for 3-4 months lol.

Here is my question though.. once i respec is it safe to pull out all my creatures of days old or will the system make me adjust there level or stats? and if so what is it i should choose.. (level or stats). Were talking king merek, bull rancor, gps, and several other beauties).

Anyway.. any help or guidance would be great..even if it is by private email if it is easier.

and whats with all these new tamables i see on swgcreatures????

Welcome back.

Most of my pets were Killer BE creations pre-cu and when I converted them by level, they ended up around the 200 mark and unusable.

Doing it by stats gives them generic stats that are averaged out for whatever level they are listed at.

The safe way (the way to guarantee you will be able to use them after you convert them) is to do it by stats. However, if you roll the dice with adjust level you could end up with a very nice pet or one that you will have to destroy.

As far as your specific beauties like the King Merek, Bull Rancor and Great Plains Stalker I would get feedback from others that had these rare pets.

I'm still only a midlevel CH, but one shocker I've heard is that bull rancors are no longer the top-dawg pet. Frenzied grauls have apparently been confirmed as tamable, along with a flotilla of new tamables (including -- yes!-- Giant Peko Pekos!), but apparently FG's are also reduced somewhat.

Midlevel creatures have been thoroughly muddled in level. Boar wolves are now one of the most powerful pets in the game, at level 68 or so. I can confirm this one personally: I have a BW still in my Datapad, and one of the first things I did when I went to TestCenter was head for Endor in search of a boar wolf, thinking it'd make a decent midlevel pet to experiment with. WRONG! One boar wolf incapped my Level-80 BlueFrog(TM) Master BH/Master CH in four hits!

Piket Longhorns have been dropped from CL-37 to CL-33; Ravenous Roba Stalkers have jumped a bit, from CL-40 to CL-45 (WAAAAH!!!) and so forth. Natural pets generally go through the conversion process reasonably well, although you'll want to be prepared for some shocks in where their HAM ends up. And as Vertexon finally was able to get the devs to confirm recently, the display of creature resistances is currently broken, along with pet special attacks. The attacks are neither usable nor trainable at the moment. But at least we now know they are offically acknowledged as "broken," as opposed to "working as intended." So that's an improvment, of sorts. And we do have a promise from the devs that they will be "fixed as soon as possible." For whatever that's worth....
