Thread: New Kashyyyk Creatures?

as i am at work with lots to procrastinate doing, i was wondering if there are many new creatures, hopefully tamable, on kashyyyk? maybe we could get a list of new creatures and if they spawn babies goin here.

You may be disappointed in some of the creatures....alot of them are just renamed versions of existing creatures.
The monky things on dath are now called Roo Roos for example. There are Boars and spats from Corellia (each with new names). There is also a pharple but i think it is a different color...and has a different name.
On the immediate area of Kachiro you will find the above creatures. The new creatures On Kachiro (starting city) are the Varactyl, Bantha, And Bolotuar.....None have babies in that area.
The new Bolotaur and bantha Mounts are from Quests (anyone can use them).
As a Master Creature Handler you will be able to take a Quest from a fella on Kachiro...that is to get a new/better Varactyl. Instead of the CL 10 freebie...you get a CL 65 Version. But you have to fight to get it.
The other zones (from my time testing) seemed to be about teh same as Kachiro...no babies....just new named versions of existing pets ...and a few new critters here and there specific to Kashyyyk (none that had babies since they are not spawning from lairs).

if your strictly using the TC version than the reason there were no babies spawning was the NDA. Cause you could whip one out in Coronet and everyone coudl see it, so this will change on live.

I didn't see any Babies there today and I went all over.

Yep, that ones a quest mob, and I think the best spider model yet seen in this game to be honest.
With the bugged examine of creatures its hard to tell if these things are tamable of course, but I havent yet seen a baby anything.
I have, however, got my CH version varactyl, growing in my datapad.
I hope its the size of the larger ones to deferentiate from the freebie.
My guldie has also done the bolotaur quest, that is a very nice, fast mount.
best bit about kashyyk so far is the no bike thing, everyone on mounts does look good there.
There also seems to be a huge amount of content, so far, it has impressed me a lot.

South East corner of Kachiro in the small village. You can see it on the map for the zone.

Post the level of Jagged Fang if you can. I am curious what they bumped her up to.

About every 30 minutes to get Jagged Fang to come out and play.
If you see others around.group with them as well...if they are going for the quest. This way multiple folks can get the egg.

Well, got here and her corpse was on the ground... after about 45 to 50 minutes she showed up.
