OK, I'm looking at CH for creatures to tank for me, while I snipe to build XP in Rifleman, I'm novice with just Conceal I and Conceal Shot. I'm sure you've all been asked this before. My questions are, is this viable for a good leveling pace? How far into CH do I need to go to get some tankable creatures(I don't mena Rancors or anything like that, but some creatures with decent HAM)? Do you recommend another path for leveling through Rifleman other than this?

I'm still building my character, so I'm looking for feedback from many channels. Thanks.

CH/Rifleman makes a good combination. I know many Master Riflemen/MCH out there. If you are talking BE pets, I would say you would need one tree of CH got get a solid CL24 pet (20 skill pts), they can make them with Light armor and high Kinetic resists. You would need a MCH to train it all the commands needed if you wanted to use specials and such so make sure you get them to tame the deed or you won't be able to transfer the pet. This is of course for PvE. NPC are another issue and I don't have as much experience with them. Wild pets are a bit tougher since the nerf. I would say Crimson Razor cats may be the first solid pet you hit or maybe Greater sludge panthers. The Crimsons would require one full tree and thee boxes in a second (32 skill pts) or the GSP would be one full tree and a single box in a second tree (so 25 skill pts).

Tanker Droids. Do they exist? I've heard some can be used for this purpose from some. Others tell me there is no such thing. Would ike to know. If you have any recommendations I'll be glad to hear it. Thanks.

Yes, they do.

Rx with 1 combat module and filled with auto-repair.
Probot/DZ70 filled with auto-repair.
LE Repair with 1 combat and 2 auto-repair.

Those are the best tank, IMHO in that order.

The LE filled with combat module can also be a good tank that do some dmg.

Auto-repair module has to be turned on, it's an heal over time for the droid.
When turned on, a battery last 30 minutes, so buy a crate of batteries.

I also think that for non-CH a probot or R3 tank is better than a pet.

Medical droid? I never would have thought. . .but then I guess that makes sense, eh? After all they have to administer first aid on the battlefield. Can you give me a ball park figure of what these run? I'm probably going to see a droid engineer today. Thanks for the input.

Im working on teh same style of Rifleman/CH template myself. Im still learning about CH as a class, but for rifleman, Flurry shot is your friend.. Juggle the creature with Flurry for dizzy then lower thier stance with surpression fire and watch yoru pet just eat away. The only real problem Im finding with Rifleman/CH is the fact that I can usually dispatch many of my targets in a few mind shots, so my pets really dont get to play often, and if i am fighting something I need the pets assistance with, my pet usually doenst stay up very long. Ah well, I'll figure it out eventaully.

No, not a medical droid.

See, when you build droids, you put modules in them.
One of the module is auto-repair module.

When turned on, the droid will heal his own white bar damage every 10 seconds for the amount of the auto-repair rating of the droid, and the white bar damage of other droids in your group close to him. But not yours.

That's why it makes a good tank.

For the prices, I'ld rather not, price can vary alot between server, and on a server between DE.

On mine, Farstar, if you buy it from me, you'll pay about 60K for an adv R3, 50K for a probot, and 20-30K for an LE.

I'm also considering creature handler for this task. The price is high, though not as high as I would have thought.

By Rx I mean R2, R3, R4, R5.

They pretty much have the same HAM between 4K and 4.4K.
But the number of modules vary.

And for the price, I'm pretty sure that even on my server, you can find some for half that price.

As I said, price can vary alot.

For exemple, a full good compo suit cost about 500K on my server.
I know that on other server, half that price is concidered high.

I am a master Rifleman. 3/3/3/3 CH. I mastered Rifle while working on CH. I started with a nice BE lvl 10 pet. It had 60% kin and 9k HAM. He was my best friend until I could handle Lvl 20 pets. Use the BE pet to tank.

BTW I only hunted Sharns. So I was getting like 2-3k of Rifle xp per kill (something like that)

I'm a DE and a Rifleman [1,1,3,3].

I use an Adv Probot to attack the lair and then Flush Shot 2. Works Great. My Probot autorepairs and has decent HAM. It can last for a good while.
