Thread: FAQ hasn't helped me, can someone answer a few questions?

I am a master rifleman, as soon as I became a master i dropped all my artisan & brawler to invest into CH. I am still learning alot about the profession and I am having some trouble interpreting some of the skill trees and how to use them. I have read the FAQ's and I thought that I understood what was going on, but maybe I am a little more thick-headed than i thought (I am always the last to know these things).
My goal is (I think) a simple one for now. I want to be able to hunt with 2 pets (specifically a dog type: huurton, kusak, etc...). I have already purchased my first two (both BE, both CL15 kusaks). I am currently 0/1/1/3 in the skill trees.
My first problem is neither of the BE pets will allow me to tame them (although I am now supposedly capable
of CL21).
My second problem is this: my original 2 petsare BE gurrcats (CL12), and I thought that by reaching CM3 I would be able to pull them both out at the same time.
What am I doing wrong or what am I not getting about the skill trees? Please help me!?

Kusaks and Huurtons are both aggressive, even from a BE. Without having the Taming line which gives +Taming Vicious or BE +Tame clothing, you will never be able to use them. Some clothing may be sufficent to let you tame and use them.
At 0-1-1-3 you have a max pet CL of 23. This counts for individual and multiple pets. Two CL 12 pets will be a total of 24, so you are one level shy.

Thank you so much for your response. Now it all makes sense. It seems as though I need to brush up on my Intro to CH 101.
