I like the toxic merek battle lord or the gurrek, non be, the level 50 gurrek. King Merek and Frenzied Grauls are great but they are extinct if you are lucky enough to own one then yeah.

Im one of the lucky ones that has a king merek, and i never use him anymore, I use my 2 be'd razor cats now.

I like the Gurrek its good for most PvE combat and can run to keep up with my land speeder.

those that have gurrecks where on endor did you find them? still can't get mine

No such thing! Each pet has it's strengths and weaknesses.
Mereks tend to have the best resistances, but many of the high level ones such as the king and TMB have aoe posion which can easily bring a fighting situation ouot of hand if there are a lot of other creatures about. Mereks have one fundermental and very serious weakness (especially in PvP), energy damage.
Rancors/Frenzed Grauls lots of kinetic damage output here, but very difficult to control and runs around like a mad-march hare! The FG has the highest kinetic resist (65) in the game as far as I know. But no one has seen a baby in recent history. Aside that both pets are huge and are completely undesirable in a group especially when targetting multiple critters is an issue.
Screechers and bull rancors, king of dieseases! nice to have pets that disease but as any combat medic will tell you disease works very slow. Both these pets do not have very high kinetic and energy resistances. The bull is huge and suffers the same problem as the rancors and FG mentioned above. On top of which neither of these pets are common, far from it, you could spend months looking for one especially the bull. Need I say anything more than to mention the name Tivo??
Gaping Spider Recluse/Hunter, Arachne (Webmaster, Warrior and Widow). These pets all do posion damage, works much faster than disease at taking a critter down, but none of these pets are particularly strong in terms of resistances.
Gurreck and other cat creatures. These things are fast, very very fast. Unless what you are fighting is on a bike, nothing is gonna outrun these things. The have no poison or diesease attacks and aren't as damaging as the other pets because of raw physical power or dot like abilities.
That just about covers all the notable high end critters, so as you can see from my statement, there's no such overall best pet, just the best pet for each individual circumstance. As a CH know your pets and know what they can do. Much like a marksman knowing which gun to use when and where.

I am sorry guys I just couldn't pass this up.
The best pet I have is a TKM/doctor friend. LOL BEST TANK IN THE WHOLE FREAKIN GAME ROFL.
Now if i can just get him to dance and sit I will have it made. It is also hard to befriend him. LMAO

the best pet is the one that compliments your fighting style and stays alive as long or longer then you do 
I personnlay believe that the Blurgg or the Rho Kwi's are excelent fighting pets I have 1 of each and in over three months of fighting with then the Blurgg is at vit of 99 and the Kwi is at 100...while most of my stuff dropped 10-14% hehe.
Now that I'm working towards TKM I find that i die alot less and get a heck of alot more exp.
