Thread: Best planet for a novice CH to start his career ?
I read the question a little different than Maelas did.
I'd say right now, Naboo, if you're looking to learn CH from Novice and actually work it. Lower density of critters than Yavin, which can bepretty toughto a Novice with limited combat skills. Naboo has a lot of tameables at low and mid levels (through lvl 34); density is pretty decent.
Keep in mind planets change periodically too, though.
Also being a non-holo novice CH, I find Daeric on Talus to quite good. I have tamed about six babies so far and then use them to attack the low level creatures right outside the city, that is when no new players are around which is most of the time (Talus itself is usually deserted). Best pet so far is a minor sludge panther, cute little guy with a great roar when he attacks. Made enough credits from missions to buy a speeder, 600+ damage power hammer, 300+ damage curved sword and even some decent armor.
Other times I go on pet hunting (taming) expeditions, just pick a direction and off I go. This ismost enjoyable and makes a wonderful break from constant fighting. It's also a great way to see the sights and discover what other high level creatures are out there.
I am also working rifles to novice, currently at rifles IV. But novice swordsman has been my life saver so many times that I plan on mastering it along with CH.
If having fun is a measure of success then I am very succesful at the moment.
