Thread: Anyone know if you can still generate a reward mount in the NGE (like Kash Bantha, or Bolotaur)?

I got and generated my kash bantha yesterday, not sure how it will work in NGE (sorry misread your post originally!)

As far as I can tell, reward mounts will work as normal, since they generate from deed form already mounted.

However, so far, there is no information on who will be able to tame/train new mounts, since there is no longer a CH profession. Previously trained mounts should still follow issued commands, but you won't be able to train new mounts to group or follow, for example. Nor will you be able to saddle a mountable creature unless it's already done for you.

So unless you already have them, or they get around to putting in the ability for someone to train them, post-NGE the only mounts for new gamers will be Kashyyyk Bantha, Varactyl, Bolotaur, Lava Flea.

No bantha, no dewback, no bol, no cu pa, no kaadu, no brackaset, etc.
