Thread: A prediction
They will already have analyzed the lawsuit risk before taking the CH out of the game. Now should they put that porfession in at the last min like this just how many of the features would you expect to work?

Well the gameplay is not the focus of all the lawsuit talks. The advertizing of the Taming necklace is. That activity is NOT protected by the EULA. If several months had passed and some CH got the necklace then the EULA protections would be in force.

That is where SOE made its mistake. They should have never said anything about the CH quest part to the new expansion knowing that within days after its release they where going to take out CH. That was a selling part to many hard core CH. When you advertise a feature of a product and not let your customers know that feature will be removed withing days is deception. SOE can avert this mistake if they announce the return CH/BE. It may take 30 to 90 days to write the code but they can protect themselves while they got a chance.

Probably this would not save them at this point either as most of the CH bought the expantion for what was about to be in there. We (many-most CH) would have waited till they brought it back before buying the expantion. The plan to remove CH remains a material fact that the seller knowingly withheld from the buyer(s)

People keep saying this and keep missing that it is stated as part of the "teen" rating, no as anything else...

You understand that online games evolve over time and, accordingly, system requirements to play the Game may change over time.
But in the same section is:

You understand that we may update or otherwise enhance the Game and/or the Software at any time and in doing so incur no obligation to furnish such updates to you pursuant to this Agreement.
So please, SOE by all means do not provide me this enhancement
