Thread: My Gift to all of my fellow Creature Handlers
My Creature Handler Memorial. It's on Kettemoor Galaxy, just outside of the city Mos Mesric, Tatooine.
The waypoint is -1419, 180, 283
As I said, it isn't much, but it's the least I could do for all of you and for myself to preserve a small something for us until they reinstate us or to simply not allow us to be completely forgotten.
To say that the museum is beautiful is to way understate your work.
I encourage every CH to tell their friends and come visit the museum.
I will be on Sunday if you want to meet you can either transfer ownership to me or I can place money in your account to keep the house alive for as long as it takes for SOE to make it go away.
It is a great work and I tried to take pix from various angles but I would want to preserve it for as long as possible.
That I who am a miner would give up some of my lots to protect this museum should tell folk how I feel about it and our profession.

Thank you, very very much. As far as the money goes, it's very well stocked. We donated a large chunk into it. It'll be up for a good 3 years or more.

Although I have no character on that server I thought of doing it on shadowfire. I wanted to let all the people who play swg with the ps3 see what we once had here.
I am kinda thinking they are going to wipe the houses up before the ps3/swg launch. But even if it last 6 months it would still be nice.

I am going to make a noob and go see this. This should be done everywhere. I pray all the rumors I have heard are wrong.....The latest rumor to float is that the only reason SWG came up with "HOUSE PACK" and "Character Item Transfer" was because this is a pre-curser to a consolidations of galaxies.....
I hate to say it, but not only does it make sense, its ugly because I think they knew there is greater than 1% and figure that if we all leave it will reduce the galaxies enough to consolidate down to 8 or less galaxies......... Espically if you change the crafting position so that way you don't need tons of harvestors, factories, wind power....no one of credibilty has said this yet.....but from where I sit, this is another ugly and highly possible move for SOE....hope everyone likes it crowded.....

Thanks for this - I have a MCH on Euro-Chimaera and have had since November 2003 - I will miss the profession tremendously. I have now created a character on Kettemoor and visited the waypoint - It is a great memorial and I now have somewhere to go when i need a bit of time to reflect on the loss of my pets .
I may no longer be able to be a CH but i will ensure that whatever happens I wear my MCH tag with pride and hope that , in the future, new players may stop and ask me what it was all about when you could use pets to fight - I will tell them all my best CH stories and will probably feel like a grandpa telling my grandkids about the "good old days" but hey, as long as there are people who can tell the stories the profession will never truly die
Whatever my future is in this game I will always be a Master Creature Handler
However even with that, I'll miss my fuzzies, immensely and it'll be a place to remember the good times. I wanted to share it with all of you.
Maintanance isn't nescessary as Taliesen's In-Character mate dropped 900K on the thing before we cancelled out. It's got a good 871 days of maintanance on it. I am more worried about the house packup than anything but if it lasts for just a little while and cheers up those of us who are missing our pets, it'll be worth it....
Plus if I come back with my house in my data pad, all I have to do is drop it back down again
