Thread: Should I take MCH (please read)
Right now, Rifle is prob yer best bet. However combat balance is not to far away and who knows whats gonna happen there. The devs say that CH is already "balanced" so ya might take CH and hope for the best. Well, I think I'm done not helping ya LOL. sorry

I hated when CH got nerfed I mean it's one of the harder profs you have to tame the pet meaning it's rather easy for the mommy to turn on you and kick your ass
how about make it so pets can be buffed be eatting food
I'm one of the few people who would like buffs nerfed i mean god it ruins PvP
I agree . Buffs are way out of control. I think they are getting balanced as well. Not sure tho.

One of the things that bugs me is we CH's have to use a lot of skill pts to get to MCH. Once we get there we are useless for combat. WE are supposed to be a support prof but we can't support anything effectively. We are barely adequate. In the geo cave or the corvette don't even bother pulling your pet. CH and PvP are a no go. Pets only do 1 damage type, Kinetic. Just about everyone is wearing 70% or betterKinetic armor now.

CH is a fun prof. It's the only one I know of that can find weapons (pets)anywhere. We can make our own vehicles. We get a wide range of critters to tame. We have already been "balanced".
Depends what you enjoy doing. If you are interested in PVP or high end PVE then the answer is no.

We've been "balanced" for 8 or 9 months now. It's just the other professions that haven't been balanced. I sure feel bad for all the other professions since theyhave yet to feel the love of the DEVs. Just think of all the practice we've had at being "balanced", if it actually does happen it will seem so easy for us that most people will give up CH. I think I'm gonna ask the DEVs to delay the "balance" for a little while so that I may continue to enjoy MCH.

MCH is nothing more than a mini-game that consists of finding rare babies. Taming is useless, since they have made sure that any BE pet is better than their corresponding versions that can be found in the wild. Creature pet damage output and lack of armor ensure that they will remain novelties rather than useful.
It's depressing.
