Used to be I could drop by the bazaar and pick up a crate of Bofa treats

for my friends - who seem to be forever hungry. But lately these cratesseem in

short supply ... so the question(s):

1) I hate to do it, but what's the downside of letting them go hungry?

(they seem to behave rather badly when hungry, so I'd rather feed them!)

2) Any other cheap crated food that will work as well (or better)?

3) Any Starsider vendors that want to put a few crates of Bofa treats aside for me?

I'm coming down to an point-crunch and may have to give up my ability

to cook them up myself ... approaching a CH/Carbineer double master!

ANY food you can eat, your pet can eat and it will heal wounds.

You can also use regular wound packs to heal pet wounds, and if you're a medic, get medical XP for it (note that you don't get medical XP for healing damage).

You can forage if you've got Wilderness I, and any food you find, your pets will eat.

Be sure to hide things like synthsteak, bivoli, and other expensive chef foods from your pets by storing them not in your main inventory, but in a cargo pocket or satchel or in your backback. The pets will eat anything you can eat that's in your main inventory that's just lying aroundif you feed them from the radial menu, left to right top to bottom, to include spice.

Good tips from Sio.

The reason is because Chefs are no longer broken. Selling crates of food to handlers used to be a relatively (at the time because nothing else sold) good source of income. Now that they have food that is useful, they are far more interested in making that. They cannot keep up with orders in fact.

I have a single crate of bofa treats that I made for fun recently. I know they're 6 per biscuit but I forget how big the crate is. Maybe 25. You're welcome to contact me in game if you really want it though. I'm Lantyssa on Starsider.

Lately i have just fed them vegash? spelling.. The food for creature harvesting bonus.

I have lots of money atm and its too mutch hassle hiding the 'good' food from my pets. So i just let them eat whatever they choose

well if you are on valcyn I actually still have a pet food vendor in my tent in Keris tava.

I used to do factory runs of 1000 in the pre nerf days and couldn't keep them on my vendor. Now I still have the last 2 runs on my vendor since then.
