I was thinking of picking up CHM, I am already a TKM... I was planning on tamming somelowend pets.. Go in Masckscented and peaced... Stand next to my target have my babie pet do a quick attack the drop the target in one punch.. I'd stock up on pet stims before doing this... Does this seem like a decent way to get my CH xp?

Thats what everyone thinks at first...but it doesn't work that well.

Well it might, thing isI was using a gnort against enraged rancors for 1.7kish xp per rancor, lol

Get buffed, get armor, have another combat profession, get mind food, join a solo group, grab 37k Enraged Rancor mission on dathomir.

As long as you are in between the rancor and your pet attacking, you should be able to lvl up w/ np. Youhave to basically tank for your petand if things get crazy, use the /taunt command which pulls the aggro off your pet and onto you. I tried this when I was able to use a Greater Sludge Panther.

Btw, the better your pet is compared to a mob, the less xp you get. so keep that in mind. You make a million or two and MCH, its not that bad at all, and if you harvest hide, meat or bone off the rancor its another source of income.

i'm doing the same thing as you... it works well. if you have the cash, pick upa BE tanker pet at lvl 10 or so. all they need to do is hit the mob once.

personally i use the same lvl 14 swamp tusk cat all the time. i've lvl'd through a good chunk of ch with her. on dantooine you can get 700-1000 ch xp per creature, with TKM, you can kill that creature in 5 seconds or so... not a bad grab.

i use the "scorched earth" method of hunting for this. basically, i pick up two missions, walk there, kill every red and yellow dot i can find, do my missions, walk back also killing everything i can find. works well.
