It's depressing to think about how far the CH has fallen since opening day...it was so fun in the beginning. All the adventure, the fear, the exploration, and the joy of discovery. Remember the first time you went to Dathomir, travelled into the unknown wilderness, determined to walk away with a baby rancor even if you died in the process? Do you remember the time...ugh, Michael Jackson song relapse...must...stop...

Seriously tho, it's absolutely amazing how far the CH has fallen since those days. If you recall, CH's were able to tame some brutal creatures, and have up to 3 of them out at the same time. I remember, with fondness, running around Dathomir with 3 Arachne Webmasters in tow (I never was much of a gurreck fan), getting into brawls with nightsisters and their 3 pet rancors and coming out on top (master tka =) Remember the old Kliknik Queens? The medium armor ones (I still have one, only old pet I have left anymore, gave the rest away when I dropped CH)...such good pets, so reliable and tough...those things made being a CH worthwhile.

I still remember and laugh at the frustrations of trying to get 3 pet grauls (bulls? what were the big ones that were tamable?) to behave themselves and quit running all over the place like scared children whenever they got into a fight. What about the king and queen...ugh memory relapse, it's been so long...the spider monkeys. Ugly SOB's that creeped out everyone that saw them...nooooo, it's on the tip of my brain, what is their name!?

Anyway, that's enough from me, I propose that this be a thread for reminiscing...if you want to recall the good old days, when the CH was fun and you were all the jealous rage of the server with your huge pets and everyone calling the nerf monster down on your head because you were too strong...let's do it here and see if we can't remember what it was like to be uber, even tho those days are gone and never to return. Feel like bragging? Go for it. Let's relive those godlike moments one more time (sounds like the only godlike moments that are left to the CH now are for the people who managed to get those BE kimogilas...lucky buggers =)

At any rate, anyone else feel like a little walk down memory lane? Here's an invitation to go ahead and do it, just for old times sake.

I remember the second pet I ever tamed was a greater desert womp rat. Still have him in my datapad today..and he was huge as a baby. He was nearly unstoppable in PvP on his own, and with me to back him up, we were beastly.../sigh...

You know, if they returned the creatures and CH to the way it was at launch (except for the triple medium-armor pet part), we'd be balanced with the rest of the professions. Really, think about it. People can solo anything these days with buffs and armor the way they are. If you put up a launch-quality gurreck against anyone(except a noob)in full buffs and armor, it would be a pretty damn close fight.

And the big graulsare frenzied grauls, the 'spider-monkies' are called mereks. I miss the good old days...

omg.. do i..... not really being uber MYSELF, because i was really slow with ch.. more of my friends who were. like bri uttos, he helped me get to ch.. he would have 2/3 grauls/graul maulers i forgot which it was so long ago, on lok killin kimogilas so that i could harvest for 2k a pop but it was almost always bugged. he was a tkm/mch, which is what i am now, i wanted to be like.. just like him lol. i have a lot more on my mind that i'd like to say, but can't find the right words to say it lol... if i can figure anything out to express myself ill edit this post

I remember before way before mounts and vehicles running on dath all the way to the canyon on the far north west of the planet, just getting there was a miracle lol I was half way up the ch tree like 3/3/2/2 and looking for grauls (yes they were there then lol) and i finally found what seamed like rancor and graul canyon lol they were evrywhere, after spotting a baby graul i snuck over to tame himall the while sweating and my heart pounding lol didnt want to die there were no buffs then no decay also but it took me an hour or more to get there. he bit me i burst ran for my life lol, went back tried again he bit me again an i was inc'd luckily he didnt kill me. third time i got him was sooo siked up about it. then i went for a rancor lol and realised way too late i didnt have the skill to tame him and he slew me in seconds after i agroed him hehe still was worth it and I felt like king CH lol was awesome.

ahh the good old day they may never return but with threads like these we keep our memories alive with fondness and a smile
