There seem to be two hotbeds of wasteland cu pas:

1. The area around Ben Kenobi's shack

2. Along the Mos Espa pod racing track

As for grand wrix, they can be found just about anywhere onCorellia or Talus, at random.

Try looking north and north west of Mos Entha. I have found that area to be a great place for the Wasteland Cu Pa.

well out of Kor vella star port on corillia....head NW. i found my Grand Wrix this weekend there...saw 6 other babies too...good luck!
