Im a 1-1-0-0 CH and was wondering if it was possible for me to sell pets. I tamed two GSP's last night and would like to sell one, if possible.

Without the transfer command from Management IV, you can only sell CL15 or lower pets to non-CHs. At CL23, you will be unable to transfer your GSPs.

Yeah this happened to me. I tamed a greater sludge for myself and then the day after somebody wanted to buy one so I went back to Talus and actually tamed 2 more. So now I have 3 gsp with me thinking I'm gonna make money off of this. Nope. **edit** transfer won't let and its a far off ways to go before I can get that transfer skill.

Well, I guess my two baby GSP's, Flopsy and Fluffy, will be staying with me., lol. How do you work the sale of a CL15 or lower? Do you drag the item from your datapad to the secure trade window? I may want to sell my cowardly gurreck to make room for a higher level pet.

You just move them from your datapad to the transfer screen. However there is a bug so the recipient can't see what there getting and just needs to hit accept and ok. On the plush side for learning the transfer command, Management 1 is group, a command you really need for combat and to sell. 2 is additional pets in your datapad which means a bigger inventory of pets. Management 3 is 2 pets out at the same time which means twice the CH XP from hunting. Management 4 is transfer, 2 additional pets out at the same time and a +5 bonus to the combined level of creatures you can have out at one time.

When you now try to trade you get a message that that pet does not know the transfer command.

Cowardly gurreck is the only big cat that a non ch can have or is worth having. You might have a better chance selling those. Most ch wont buy a GSP when they can go and get one for them selves.

If I wanted to give away a GSP as a gift to another CH, I could do that, can't I? And if the recipient has more commands than I do, could he then train it with additional commands?

You can't trade or transfer any pet that's agro or over CL15 unless it already knows the Transfer command.

The only way for this to work is for the mgmt 4 CH to tame it so they can teach it transfer. Otherwise it's staying in your datapad until you learn it yourself or let it go.

this wasn't a stealth nerf and was in effect before 9/29. it was posted and pretty well known.

Anyone?
