Thinking of heading back to the DWB one of these days. Of course I am useless there with a master pistoleer master creature handler template (even in a group.) Wondering if anybody has tried buffing their pets and then sending them into the DWB to tank a few meanies at a time and if the pets survived (while secondary stat buffed) long enough to make a dent. Maybe even have a team of CH's (some combat skills required.)

Just a thought, feasible?

So you tried buffing your pets and you didn't go to DWB

or

You tried buffing your pets and the DWB was a hopeless situation (i.e. pets at master level are useless for high end content)?

the farthest i've gotten was the first and second rooms...but that's all you need for DE-10 loots anyways...and my pets were unbuffed. you get about a min or two to heal pets before the next spawn

IT'S 15 PAST 14 ALREADY MAN!!! it's 75 past as well bro! that clock gives reciepts too!!

The problem is that pets dont have 80% composite, the most they have is 60% AR1. With SBDs, you cant stun or intim, so a 2000 raw damage hit would get reduced to 400 instead of to 200 - they take twice as much damage. Add onto that the fact that they cant /center and have no defensive mods (unless you have a SL, but even then....) and they just dont tank worth a crap against the upper end content. You'd have to have a dedicated doctor healing it for it to last long at all- and thats just 1 on 1 against DWB content.

The other thing is, you need a lot of different types of resists. DWB guys can switch from Energy to Kinetic quick, and it's also entirely possible they could whip into heat, cold, even stun damage.

I've taken my 3 BE woolmanders to the DWB. They managed to decoy 2 SBDs while my crew focused on the others. Of course, they have 36k health, 27k action, and 15k mind combined and light armor and 60% kinetic resists AND were buffed. LOL To be effective, though, you really need a medic/doctor to keep the pets tanking. Otherwise, they will surely drain in one of the ham bars and it's a punk to get them back at optimum in the midst of combat. As soon as they're incapped, I store them; rather than watch someone heal for 500 health, get incapped again, and lose more vitality. Pets are useful, but you need the right resists and a medic to heal them.

are the mobs inside DWB harder then the group that wanders on endor? ...

me and 3 other CH's fought that group and killed several ... killed one SBD and a total of 5 of the others ... yes we and our pets died a few times in the process but it is able to be done ... pets were not buffed ... 3 of us were MCH and one was still only 2322 ... 2k xp per kill on em ch xp ... but it was a challenge
