i'm sort of a CH. lv 20. i would be a master if i had the SP left. anyway, i know that this profession got kind of screwed as far as profitablitly goes. there just seems to be such a small amount of pets that can be tamed that could then in turn be sold to a non-CH. now i've noticed as a BE that mounts are actually pretty popular. every once in a while i make a bunch of mounts out of trash DNA and throw them on the bazaar for 6k. obivously they can't be used for fighting or anything. anyway, then that person of course has to take it to a master CH to get it trained as a mount. essentially the pet i sold is useless without a CH. but i'm getting the money and the CH get's nothing..most likely. i still don't see many CH's charging for training. anyway, i was thinking about starting a service for some of the CH's i know where i would make the mounts for them, sell them to them for 5k or whatever and then they could mark them up to whatever..10K? whatever people are willing to pay for a mount i guess. the cool thing is, it would be in deed form so it wouldn't take up room intheir datapad. they could just have them on hand and when somone asks for a mount they'd have it. i'm just wondering what you guys think about this. do you think CH's would be interested in this or do most of you guys make your money through other means so making money of pets wouldn't be that interesting.
the only other thing i considered about how this might not work, is do people even ask CH's for mounts or do they just ask a BE?

ahh, yes. i hadn't thought about that. i was thinking about selling them on my vendor in a pack of 5 or10 or something. i might still try it and see how it goes. maybe the CH could put a few in his/her datapad and then when those sell, put a few more in. i don't know.

It's not a bad idea. I try to keep one in my datapad as I get asked from time to time. But level 10 BE'd mounts are hard to find on my server.

Well as a Master Rifleman/Master CH I make my money using my Scout skills to get meat for Docs and also by hunting with my BE pets (Mokk missions that pay 31k etc).
However, I put my MCH title back up on my char a while back and have been getting a few tells for CH services. Mostly for training pets in commands but now and then someone asks me to mount train their pet. I have also recieved a couple requests for non-CH mounts but I don't carry any on me. Just hadn't got requests for the longest time so gave up on it. With JTL coming out there seems to be an influx of new players to the game and I think this might lend credence to your idea. I know I have been toying with the idea of having a couple mount trained non-CH pets in my datapad for instant sales if needed. I like your idea because I could tame a couple deeds and then wait until those sold beofre taming anymore. Can pet deeds be put into a crate? LOL prolly not.
Anyway, my longwinded way of saying you might have something here albeit more for fun and a sideline than any real profit.

Growing BE'd CL10 pets in the "Corral" idea would be cool. Whencreaturesare full-grown, justhave the customer mosey by the corral, let them choose which one youtheyandlet the CH mount train it. The "Corral" idea isterribly genius.
As a BE, I would love nothing more than just coming by a CH's place anddropping off Non-CH pet deeds on a vendor. Ya know......Just let the CH casually buy the deeds off his vendor, take that pet deed, drop it in the corral, target the pet deed and select "Grow".
Put the corrals on a planetary mapor something....lol.
I'm just re-iterating what a lovely idea the corral is. I'll be quiet like a good BE now.

Whats this? A BE who dosent make uber non-ch mounts. Can I hug you?
Sounds interesting I know that some CH's do this very thing but the problem with doing this for mounts is that you cannot tame a baby to function as a mount sothey will still have to wait a few days to get it trained as a mount

I remember a while back when i was master ch putting up my MCH title and getting swamped with tells from people asking me to train their pets. I never once charged anything because most of the players were new and didnt really have much money to spare. I dont really think charging someone for training their pets is right but I think selling the mounts that you have already grown and mounted them would be good.............just my opinion....everything is so expensive these days in game.
