I was just about to post something similar. Does anyone know of high level (40+)tameable creatures that have good LS resists?

There is nothing that will satisfy your need for a light saber resistant pet. In the SWG storyline nothing is resistant to this weapon. There are animals in the SWG storyline that retard or reduce the Jedi's connection to the Force though. They reside on only one planet.

What planet is that?
Force nullifying animal pets are in the books and IMO need to be in the MCH's top 5.

Is it the Terenetek - they have some in Knights of the old Empire (nice game) they sense the force in people and hunt them down - a bit like an animal bounty hunter. Dark side strong creature that hunt Jedis. Korriban sounds about right, where the Sith have the dark jedi academy and the original sith may have come from and also where the original Sith Lords have there tombs.

there's also the Ysalamiri, the lil rodentlike animal that dampens the force in a radius around them.
the planet they reside on(i forget the name offhand), has huge sections of the planet where the force is completely nullified thanks to large populations of these animals.
i would hope they'd be accessible in the future, perhaps use them to create a bubble area in a pvp fight that dampens a jedi's ability to use force powers.

After seeing a jedi padawan incap all the best PvP proffesions easily, im just wondering if us CH will get any pets with a lightsaber resistance, or any sort of thing to make us worthwhile in pvp combat.
I hope there will b tamable CH pets with lightsaber /force resistance or atleastlightsaberresistant creatures to sample DNA from;
Please post here if you agree with me or if there are plans to do this.

Weren't the tereneteks (spelling seems off on that) described in Knights of the Old Republic, as being throughout the galaxy but they thought they had hunted them all down but the one? Then you end up fighting two...sorry if this spoils the game for anyone. So there could be more I would say.

Hopefully they bring the Ysalamiri inthe game as they completely null the force around the jedi. but dont think they will as its part of SWU not Star Wars star wars.
But this would be so cool if we can get these, bring CH to the front lines again

Something I just found out today: you probably DON'T want pets who are resistant to Lightsaber Damage. At least not as of currently.
Lightsabers are Medium Armor Peircing. If a Enemy is "Vulnerable" to a damage type, then the extra Armor Peircing is not added for some reason.
Long story short, with numbers:
Creature with No Armor against a Lightsaber: You'll want either Vulnerability or a Resist over 36%
Creature withLow Armor against a Lightsaber: You'll want either Vulnerability or a Resist over 20%
Creature with Medium/Heavy Armor against a Lightsaber: Finally the Resist kicks in properly, get a Resist as high as you can

I reallyreallyreallyreally hate these buggy boards. It's almost as bad as the game.
Anyway, the link (which appeared in preview!!!!) is here:
