I was prenerf CH and some post nerf. I was having so much trouble controlling multiple pets (they take off in opposite directions) it was not fun so I dropped it. I became a Ranger/Swordsman. With CU I decided to give Ranger/MCH and a little carbine a try. I am Dantoine trying to tame DL50 & 51 and it keeps saying you can not tame that. I am wearing bio-enhanced clothes +15 or +30 when I wear the pants. I walk up to the pet masked, click on it and hit the tame button. What am I doing wrong or why can I not tame these creatires when you examine them and they all say tameable? I really wanted to replace Grauler Mauler that I had before. I miss Abott and Costello

I think this is less a bug but more a client issue, its one big problem effecting multiple aspects of the game. Don't expect a fix posted on this. Look for something that says improved client stability on the patch notes. it will be one of these patches that will fix this issue.
Basically the game loses track of where you actually are. thats why you cannot tame something the client believes you to be too far away.
Try logging out for at least twenty minutes on the planet you wish to tame on, and try using the /tame command not the icon. Some people have had luck doing these things.

Yeah I missed out on a baby bull rancor because of this. I'll have to try this advice out.

Woohoo I was able to train last night. I was able to tame 2 gsp's last night on talus but there only level 23's I dont know about tougher critters yet.
