Howdy boy-o's Was just wondering if anyone here had some kind of formula or something that explains how I get the ammount of CH xp i get. I've been told time and again that the lower your pet is the more xp you get when attacking a high level creature. But on several occasions I've found that this just isn't true.

I have the following pets I use frequently against slinking voritor hunters:

Fambaa (BEd) Level 6(30); HAM 1844(9222) 1316(6583) 1212(6063); 60% kinetic resist; 2.16 attack speed; 0.3 base to hit; 50-52(250-260) damage. XP earned per kill 469

Sharnaff (BEd) Level 22(25); HAM 6003(6673) 1800(2006) 3888(4322); 44% kin resist; 2.49 attack speed; 0.22 base to it; 27-36 (30-40) damage. XP earned per kill 980

Carrion Spat (tamed) Level 10; HAM 1100; 2.0 attack speed; 0.28 base to hit; 90-110 damage; XP earned per kill 741

Yes, I make sure its slinking voritor hunters I kill and not some other kind. And yes, I've gotten these same results multiple times. So how is CH XP formulated? Can someone tell me?

That is pretty strange because I was getting 1030 CH Xp per kill yesterday using my Level 16 Kahmurra (Non-BE) against them. I would be very interested to see if anyone has actually sat down and figured this out also.

The lower level pet xp does not hold true when you move to higher level MOBs. There appears to be a window with the CL of the MOB. If you go below the window you get less xp. You can experiment. The sweet spot for most higher MOBS is 16-20. With 19 being best all around. I see no difference between BE and wild pets.
