yeah, I think there is now a problem with tellpet. sadly. I think that is why my pet would never attack after the first tell.

I have actually been having intermittent problems with the /tellpet command for the past few weeks. Opened a ticket (stating that it worked neither in macros norwhen I actually typed the command," and was told "SOE doesn't support custom macros." Ok whatever.

I finally gave up and changed all my macros to "/say" instead of "/tellpet".

I haven't had problems with my pet macros. All my animals are trained with commands that are at least three characters in length.

My macros use /tellpet for giving silent commands, and they work fine. Sometimes there's a little bit of lag if I happen to give too many commands too quickly, but I think that's expected... Seems to work fine for me. I have my commands written out (like Stay, Attack, Heel, etc) instead of short two-letter commands which used to mess up for me, but my macros work with them so I don't need to type them out anyway.

I use at least 2 letters for commands, but my pet macros have been buggy on TC. They worked on live about six hours ago

wierd, my macros worked fine, but half the time when I typed out my commands in /tellpet I got the system message saying there was no such thing.

thanks, for all the responses. the next day a patch went in and my macros are working, even the peta are not wandering off now. thanks devs for fixing this so quickly. it was a pain in the @#@$@# to sit and type every command for your pet!!!

I also have mine setup as macros and I use full spelled out words and I had a lot of trouble with it last night. I would hit the /tellpet attack button and my pets would just stand there and watch. I was getting pretty frustrated with that, almost to the point of putting my pets away and fighting without them. I will try changing the /tellpet to /shout to see if it works any better. I want to use shout instead of say in case they get farther from me and can't hear my say command. Unfortunately everyone is going to have to deal with the spam if we are going to get stuck with bugs like this.
