I have been hearing that people how have tried to teach Fleet Footed to Varactyl's don't feel it is making any difference. Has anyone else expirienced this?I hope this is not another nerf to a reward that is already not as useful as the store bought rage of the wookies pre reg award.

Nope, its just one of the non-functioning special abilities.

Supposedly Fleet-Footed is fixed on Test Center, but we have not heard any reports yet. I suspect it will have no effect upon mounted speeds, only on unmounted pets. Those are possibly fixed.
Yea thats my suspicion as well but heres to hoping.

Hopefully, this weekend I can get around to finally picking up a critter with Fleet Flooted (L!) and see if there is any difference between a Varactyl with the Ability and one without.
I haven't had the chance to check it out yet, due to other 'pressing' matters.
Of course, it would help if the Test Center client wasn't crashing each time with this new Patch ![]()

I agree that fleet footed doesn't work on veractyls but it has worked on other mounts. i am always taming and training non-ch mounts for sale and before every sale i test the mounts in time trials against veractyls. with fleet footed 2 on them carrion spats and motelys move as fast as the veractyls. they post identical times in both trot and gallop while mounted. it is working for mounts other than veractyls. It seems that the devs don't want veractyls to increase their speed tho. Not sure why

If it works on other mounts that is good news to me. I've learned fleet footed 1 and 2 so far.

With the given difficulty of obtaining abealities, why does having the Fleet Footed abeality effictive on mounts pose a problem? Sure, a mounted pet shouldn't move as fast as an unmounted pet, but a speed boost would be perfect for mounts. Perhaps you could make Fleet Footed only half as effective as on unmounted pets?

It does effect the mount! Fleet foot 2 works great on my Kashyykan Bantha! Mounted or not, this level 10 mutt of can keep up with a veractyl now. Woot!
Cant wait to try it on my bolotar!
